★★★★- Alice Franziska captures Estella as a bullying child really effectively before demonstrating the changes in her character once an adult. - Broadway World

★★★★- Jamie Foulkes ought to be recognised for his portrayal of Mr Pumblechook. It isn't hyperbole to suggest that the actor demonstrated courage, not to mention creativity and talent, to really interpret the roles in their own singular way and do so with a great deal of success. I never envisaged finding any Dickensian character as amusing as Foulkes is. He symbolises the freedom of expression that is unquestionably the single greatest element of this production. - What's On Stage

Hammed Animashaun MASTER HAROLD...AND THE BOYS Reviews

Hammed is currently performing as Willie in MASTER HAROLD...AND THE BOYS showing at the National Theatre until 17th December.

★★★★- A spellbinding affirmation of the need for humanity at the bleakest moments- The Telegraph

★★★★- As the slow-witted and large-bodied Willie, Hammed Animashaun is equally powerful, capturing the contradictions of this big-hearted man who is fuelled by anger and fear  - What's on Stage

★★★★- Animashaun is enjoyable as Willie: it’s a light role for a rising star whose next career steps aren’t entirely obvious, but he’s good value in the play’s smallest part, and there is something wonderful about seeing his prodigiously huge form dance lightly across the floor - TimeOut

★★★★- As Willie, Animashaun fills the stage when he needs to, but the real power is in his silences. While Sam and Hally chat, Animashaun softens into the background, dutifully and uncomplainingly getting on with his cleaning tasks. It’s only when he almost lets rip, squaring up to Hally towards the end, that we see how much it’s been costing him to hold back. - The Stage

★★★★★- Animashaun is a touching, effortful Willie. - The Theatre Cat

Hammed Animashaun impressively shows the exploited Willie seeking on the dancefloor a grace he is denied in daily life. - The Guardian

Lucian Msamati and Hammed Animashaun give dignified, layered performances as black servants Sam and Willie. - Evening Standard

Animashaun is a master of comic timing - Culture Whisper

Written by Sheila Atim and directed by Lucy Jane Atkinson (Vault Festival and Trafalgar Studios A Hundred Words For Snow), ANGUIS is set in a broadcast recording studio where an interview exploring alternatives to popular truth takes place between two women, the great pharaoh Cleopatra and contemporary virologist, Kate. The conversation unpacks the common myth of Cleopatra’s “death by asp”, and as they explore Cleo’s story, the reality of Kate’s own past is also called into question.

In her debut play Anguis, Sheila Atim has come up with a wonderfully inventive concept to explore ideas around truth and what it means to be a woman. Shiv Rabheru is currently performing in PETER PAN as Tinkerbell.

Last show is on September 1st 2019 at Troubadour White City Theatre.

Troubadour White City Theatre

★★★★ - The stand-out performance comes from Shiv Rabheru as Tinkerbell, who is radically reconceived as a male fairy wearing wings on a harness and speaking in fairy language that seems to resemble Italian. His comic malevolence is both delightful and shocking and never fails to entertain. - The Guardian

★★★★ - Sally Cookson’s joyful and funny remix of JM Barrie’s classic story is a good fit for this cavernous new theatre. -The Stage

★★★★ -  And then there is Shiv Rabheru’s craggy, crabby Tinkerbell, an anti-fairy if ever one existed.

Thrilling action, swashbuckling fights and breathtaking flights prove irresistible - The Reviewshub

★★★★ - I have to mention Shiv Rabheru’s glorious Tinkerbell who, until we all met the Minions, would have been speaking in complete gibberish. Children all around me started laughing when she (he) spoke. And if we're speaking of children, at six years old, Mini Sardines was on the edge of his seat for the entire production, which is probably the best review you’ll ever need. - Sardines

★★★★ Exceptional Hammed Animashaun as a good-naturedly bumptious Bottom in a yellow boiler suit. His comic relish and precision are quite something' - The Times London

★★★★- Hammed Animashaun’s brilliant Bottom. [...] For me, Animashaun’s guileless, enthusiastic Bottom was probably man of the match - Time Out
